Travels through Spain, in the years 1775 and 1776 : in which several monuments of Roman and Moorish architecture are illustrated by accurate drawings taken on the spot
Henry Swinburne's account of his 1775–76 journey through Spain, published in London in 1779 for antiquarian readers, with plates engraved by Carlo Nolli and Francesco Giomignani after drawings made on site. Hand-tinted line engravings record horseshoe arches, studded doors, carved stucco panels and the vaulted interiors of Córdoba and Granada, useful for Moorish ornament, arcade patterns and measured architectural detail.
