A treatise of painting
The first English edition of Leonardo da Vinci's Trattato della pittura, printed in London in 1721 by John Senex and William Taylor for painters and drawing students. Outline engravings show standing male nudes with plumb lines dropped through the body to mark balance and weight-shift, plus perspective diagrams; useful for figure contours, proportion notation, and measured line.
