A Latin theological dissertation by Enevold Nielsen Randrup on the golden horn unearthed in Cimbria, printed at Copenhagen in 1644 by Salomon Sartorius for the bookseller Joachim Moltke, addressed to Danish clergy and learned readers. The illustrations are letterpress furniture: inhabited woodcut initials with foliage on stippled grounds and symmetrical arabesque tailpieces of interlaced strapwork, usable as drop caps, dividers, and small ornament stamps.
