Tyro blocks: the eighth wonder of toyland.
A 1915 trade catalogue and instruction booklet from the American Toy Shop for Tyro blocks, a miniature masonry building set sold to children and their parents. Line drawings in heavy black outline show model houses, walls, chimneys and fireplaces in stepwise stages of construction, giving designers clean axonometric block patterns, numbered how-to panels and brick-coursing textures.
