UNCLE WIGGILY' S JUMPING BOOTS- Bk31- By HOWARD GARIS - GUNSTON CLASSICS
A 1919 American children's picture-story book by Howard R. Garis, part of the Uncle Wiggily bedtime series, issued for young readers in short illustrated episodes with a caption block under each scene. The color plates show a top-hatted rabbit in striped trousers skating, sledding, and leaping past the moon among gnomes, foxes, bobcats and bears, drawn in flat ink outline with pale watercolor washes over bare winter landscapes, useful for anthropomorphic animal figures, snow scenery, and caption-and-frame page layouts.
