UNCLE WIGGILY' S JUNE BUG FRIENDS - Bk7- By HOWARD GARIS - GUNSTON CLASSICS
A 1919 American bedtime-story booklet of three short Uncle Wiggily tales by Howard R. Garis, drawn by Lang Campbell for young children and later reissued by Gunston Classics. Captioned color cartoons show a top-hatted rabbit in tailcoat among dressed animal children, swarming june bugs and flying straw hats in open meadow and woodland, with loose pen outlines and flat watercolor useful for character poses, insect swarms and simple landscape backdrops.
