Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical register of British families, compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp in London from 1893 with College of Arms records, for subscribing families and antiquarians. Line-engraved coats of arms fill the plates: quartered shields, crests on wreaths and coronets, mantling scrollwork, portcullises, stags and unicorns, and motto ribbons usable as ready-made badges and monogram frames.
