Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical record of English and Welsh families, compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp with the College of Arms and issued in London from 1893 for subscribing families and antiquaries. The plates are line-engraved coats of arms in black on white: quartered shields with chevrons, fleurs-de-lis and engrailed borders, crests of lions, bulls and birds on wreaths, and Latin mottoes on ribbon scrolls, all clean enough to cut out as stamps, seals or logo shapes.
