A heraldic visitation of Rutland recorded in 1681–82 by the officers of arms Francis Burghill, Gregory King and Thomas May, edited by W. Harry Rylands and W. Bruce Bannerman and printed for the Harleian Society's subscribers in London in 1922. Line-drawn shields carry outline lions, crests, chevrons, bends and trefoils, with tinctures written on in script.
