The visitation of the county of Buckingham made in 1634 by John Philipot, esq. ...
A heraldic visitation record for Buckinghamshire, compiled from John Philipot's 1634 survey with earlier Harvey and Ryley material, edited by W. Harry Rylands and printed in London in 1909 for the Harleian Society's antiquarian and genealogical readers. The 114 line drawings trace shields, quartered coats and crests in bare outline, lettered with tincture codes — usable as clean heraldic silhouettes, charge motifs and mantling scrolls.
