Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical reference compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp in London in 1893, recording pedigrees and arms of English and Welsh families for subscribers and heraldic scholars. The plates are line-engraved achievements: shields with lions, fleurs-de-lis, estoiles and wavy ordinaries, crested helms, mantling, and motto ribbons, usable as crests, badge silhouettes, and banner shapes.
