Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical and heraldic record compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp in London, 1896, documenting pedigrees and arms of English and Welsh families for subscribers and family historians. Engraved shields, crests and mottoes appear as clean line and stipple work, some tinted, with beasts, chevrons, anchors, horns and floral mantling usable as compact emblems, crests or border ornament.
