Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical reference compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp in London from 1893, recording pedigrees and arms of English and Welsh families for subscribers and antiquarians. Line-engraved achievements show shields with chevrons, roundels and lions, coronets, crests, and supporters including boars, stags, a friar and a wild man, each on a ribboned motto scroll usable as a ready-made emblem or monogram frame.
