Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical record of English and Welsh families, compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp in London in 1893 for family historians and armigerous subscribers. Line-engraved coats of arms fill each plate: quartered shields with chevrons, stars, boars' heads and crosses, crest animals on wreaths, and ribbon scrolls carrying Latin mottoes in spaced capitals.
