Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical register of English and Welsh families compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp in London from 1893, issued in small subscription runs for family historians and armorial researchers. The plates are line-engraved coats of arms: quartered shields, crested helms on torse and mural crowns, lions and stags, and ribboned mottoes usable as crisp black-and-white emblems and frames.
