Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical and heraldic register compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp in London in 1893, recording the pedigrees and arms of English and Welsh families for subscribers and the College of Arms. The plates are engraved coats of arms in line and stipple: quartered shields with ermine, chevrons, crosses and small charges, helms with animal crests, mantling scrolled into acanthus, and motto ribbons beneath, usable as crest ornament, scrollwork, or pattern fills.
