Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical reference compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp in London from 1893, recording pedigrees and arms of English and Welsh families for subscribers and antiquaries. The line-engraved plates show shields with charges, crests on wreaths and torses, and ribbon scrolls carrying Latin mottoes, useful as crisp black-and-white monogram, emblem and badge stock.
