Visitation of England and Wales
A privately printed genealogical reference compiled by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp in London in 1893, recording pedigrees and arms of English and Welsh families for subscribers and heralds. Line-engraved coats of arms fill single pages: shields with crosses, chevrons and horseshoes, crests of boars' heads and winged horses, and ribbon scrolls carrying Latin mottoes in spaced capitals.
