Visitation of Ireland
A privately printed genealogical and heraldic survey of Irish families, edited by Joseph Jackson Howard and Frederick Arthur Crisp with the Ulster King of Arms, issued in London in 1897 for subscribing family members and antiquaries. The plates are line-engraved achievements of arms: quartered shields, crested helms, lion and stag supporters, coronets and lettered motto ribbons, usable as crisp black-and-white ornament and monogram-style devices.
