The visitation of Yorkshire in the years 1563 and 1564 : made by William Flower, esquire, Norroy king of arms
A Victorian printing of William Flower's 1563–64 heraldic visitation of Yorkshire, edited by Charles Best Norcliffe and issued in London by Mitchell and Hughes in 1881 for genealogists and antiquaries. The plates are line drawings of shields, seals, crests and helms with hatched and dotted tinctures and Latin seal legends, useful as clean heraldic outlines, quartered field patterns and small circular emblems.
