The visitations of the county of Nottingham in the years 1569 and 1614, with many other descents of the same county
A printed edition of the heralds' visitations of Nottinghamshire made in 1569 and 1614 by the officers of the College of Arms, issued in London in 1871 for genealogists and antiquaries. Line engravings copy medieval and Tudor seals: mounted knights with drawn swords, standing figures holding shields, lozenge-strewn arms, crested helms with animal supporters, all ringed by Latin lettering.
