The visitations of the county of Nottingham in the years 1569 and 1614 : with many other descents of the same county
A Harleian Society volume of 1871 printing the 1569 and 1614 heraldic visitations of Nottinghamshire, compiled from the records of heralds William Flower and Sir Richard St George for antiquaries and genealogists. The plates are line facsimiles of medieval seals — round and pointed-oval matrices with Latin legends running round the rim, standing figures holding lozenge-strewn shields — alongside typeset pedigree tables useful for lettering rings, shield shapes and chart structure.
