An edited transcript of the heraldic visitations of Surrey taken in 1530, 1572 and 1623 by Tudor and Stuart officers of the College of Arms, printed in London in 1899 for genealogists and antiquaries. The engravings reproduce coats of arms, crests, mantling and wax seal impressions in fine line and hatching, with a circular motto band ringing one shield — useful for crest silhouettes, ribbon-scroll lettering and seal textures.
