Vite de'pittori, scultori ed architetti perugini
Lione Pascoli's biographies of painters, sculptors and architects from Perugia, printed in Rome by Antonio de' Rossi in 1732 for collectors and connoisseurs of Italian art. The plates in the index are woodcut initial letters, each a capital set in a square frame with acanthus scrolls, flower sprays and a putto's head, usable as drop caps or small black-and-white ornaments.
