Vniversae architecturae civilis elementa
A Latin textbook of civil architecture by the Jesuit mathematician Christian Rieger, printed by Johann Thomas Trattner at Vienna, Prague and Trieste in 1756 for students of the order's schools. The copperplate folding plates pack numbered figures onto each sheet: entablatures and capitals, fluted column shafts, rusticated masonry, roof trusses, geometric constructions with lettered points, and floor plans of halls and arcades, all useful as fine-line technical diagram and architectural ornament stock.
