A reference dictionary of checkers terminology compiled by William Timothy Call and printed in New York in 1909 for players and students of English draughts. The plates are square board diagrams, hatched dark squares against bare paper, with pieces drawn as stacked cylinders in outline or solid black; useful as ready-made grid patterns, game-position motifs, and coarse line-hatching texture.
