Charles-Nicolas Cochin's notes on paintings and sculptures seen in Italian cities, printed in Lausanne by J. Pierre Heubach in 1773 for French-reading travellers and art amateurs. The plates are typographic ornament rather than views: cast-flower headpieces, scrolled cartouches with urns and coronets, rule-and-rosette frames, and small foliate masks, usable as borders, dividers and title-page furniture.
