Voyage pittoresque de Paris, ou, Indication de tout ce qu'il y a de plus beau dans cette grande ville en peinture, sculpture, & architecture
A French guidebook to the paintings, sculpture and architecture of Paris, written by Antoine-Nicolas Dézallier d'Argenville and printed by De Bure in 1757 for travellers and art-minded readers. The images are small letterpress woodcut ornaments: symmetrical rococo tailpieces of acanthus scrolls, hanging bellflowers, flower baskets and lattice-filled urns, usable as dividers, spot motifs and frame corners.
