The Waddesdon bequest : catalog of the works of art bequeathed to the British Museum by Baron Ferdinand Rothschild, 1898
A British Museum catalogue compiled by Charles Hercules Read, published in London in 1902, recording the Renaissance goldsmiths' work, enamels and curiosities left to the nation by Baron Ferdinand Rothschild, made for curators and collectors. Collotype plates show jewels, standing cups and reliquaries against plain grounds, offering silhouettes of covered vessels, pendant pearls, grotesque figures and engraved medallion panels.
