Wallpaper samples.
A 1906 Sears, Roebuck mail-order sample book of machine-printed wallpapers, issued in Chicago for rural and small-town customers ordering by post. The plates are full-bleed repeat patterns: roses and small blossoms scattered over acanthus scrollwork, banded stripes and gilt or mica-flecked grounds in ochre, tan and sage, usable as tiling textures, endpapers and period background fills.
