A 1900 New York trade catalogue of wallpaper designs issued by N. McClelland for decorators, architects, and retail buyers selecting hangings for interiors. The plates are monochrome photographs of full paper widths: repeating floral sprays, urns and baskets of flowers, damask and arabesque grounds, birds and scrolling foliage, several framed by borders, giving designers ready-made repeat patterns and border strips in flat tonal grey.
