Weave room management; a book of instruction, information and advice for the coming generation of overseers of weaving and for all who are interested in the subject
A 1910 textile-trade manual by Albert Ainley, issued at Mapleville, Rhode Island, instructing prospective overseers of weaving in mill practice. Its plates are printer's ornaments in solid black — an acanthus tailpiece framing a lyre cartouche, symmetrical scroll-and-teardrop flourishes — alongside the Library of Congress endpaper, a gold repeat of eagle-and-shield seals on a diagonal lettered grid.
