[Weaving pattern and sample book
A weaver's working sample book, probably compiled in Lyon around 1900, pairing swatches of woven cloth with hand-drawn point-paper drafts for mill use. Pages show black fabric squares stitched to stained paper beside grids of red, black and white filled cells, loose threads and pencil numbering — sources for modular grid patterns, checkerboard motifs and collage layouts.
