[Weber Buch
A weaver's working notebook compiled by Herbert Walker in Dunfermline in 1893, the Scottish centre of damask linen production, recording loom drafts for trade use rather than publication. Squared point-paper sheets are mounted on pink card and filled in by hand with red and black cells forming chevrons, diagonal lattices, checks and small repeating blocks, with tie-up marks in the margins — ready-made pixel grids, modular repeats and two-colour tile motifs.
