Three 1889 lectures by the London surgeon Matthew Berkeley Hill on chronic urethritis and genito-urinary disease, published by H.K. Lewis in 1890 for surgeons and medical students. The plates are circular endoscopic views ringed in solid black, showing pink, orange and cream mucous membrane with radiating folds, slit and triangular openings, and fine red vessels — useful as stippled colour roundels and lens-framed vignettes.
