A domestic medical manual on women's health by John Harvey Kellogg, published in Battle Creek, Michigan, in 1892 for lay women readers and families. The plates pair red-printed sagittal sections of the female pelvis, uterus and fetus with black line drawings of the torso, all built from fine hatching and stipple; useful for anatomical cutaways, two-colour line work and figure studies in a single ink.
