A medical atlas of traumatic injury by the German physician Eduard Golebiewski, translated by Pearce Bailey and published in Philadelphia by W. B. Saunders in 1900 for surgeons and accident-insurance examiners. The plates pair halftone radiographs of fractured and dislocated feet, ankles and joints with fine pen drawings of limbs, giving designers grainy grey bone silhouettes, soft tonal fields, and clean line studies of anatomy.
