An album of original pen, ink and wash drawings made between 1824 and 1840 by Charles Rosario Goring and Andrew Pritchard, cut out and pasted onto album leaves as artwork for their English microscopy and optics manuals. Pages mix ray diagrams in white line on black, sectioned lenses, brass microscopes and stands, and insect anatomy, with visible paste edges and foxing.
