A course of operative surgery / with plates drawn from nature by M. Léveillé and coloured by hand under his direction ; by Christopher Heath.
A surgical atlas by Christopher Heath, published in London by J. & A. Churchill in 1877, with plates drawn from nature by M. Léveillé and hand-coloured under his direction, made for medical students and practising surgeons. The lithographs show limbs and torsos opened in stages, numbered muscles, vessels and cross-sections, knives held by disembodied hands, and small isolated incisions floating on bare cream ground.
