A surgical treatise on the arteries by Manchester surgeon Thomas Turner, published in London and Manchester in 1825 for practitioners operating on aneurysm and haemorrhage. The single plate maps the aorta and its branches as a black branching trunk over faint body outlines, with collateral vessels picked out in yellow, blue and red — useful as ready-made branching diagrams and hand-tinted anatomical line work.
