The medical aspects of Bournemouth and its surroundings / Horace Dobell ; illustrated with chromolithographs (by Hanhart), and photographs (by Debenham and Gould), from original sketches by the author.
A medical topography of the English seaside resort Bournemouth, written by physician Horace Dobell and published in London by Smith, Elder & Co in 1886 for doctors sending patients to health resorts. Chromolithographs by Hanhart, after Dobell's own sketches, show sandy cliff sections, pine-wooded chines and hillside villas in washed ochre and olive, alongside letterpress tables of monthly mean temperatures useful as period typographic specimens.
