An English edition of Ludwik Hirszfeld's atlas of the nervous system, published in London by J. Churchill and Sons in 1867 for medical students and practitioners, with lithographic plates drawn by J. B. Léveillé. The hand-coloured plates show dissected brains, skull cavities, and the spinal cord with its nerve roots in muted pinks and greys, with lettered reference keys and fine vascular linework.
