A London medical atlas of 1833, written by obstetric physician Augustus Bozzi Granville and printed for the author, with fourteen plates drawn on stone and copper and hand-coloured by J. Perry for anatomists and practitioners. The plates isolate specimens of aborted ova and diseased uterine tissue on bare paper, pinned open with black needles, offering wet reds, ochres and grey membranes in fleshy, folded forms.
