Jenner centenary number.
A commemorative 1896 issue published by the British Medical Association in London for its members, marking the centenary of Jenner's smallpox vaccination. Its wood-engraved plates mix advertising cuts and institutional views: hospital and asylum facades in ruled landscape settings, labelled anatomical figures with exposed skeleton and viscera, and product engravings of square and round medicine bottles with hatched highlights, useful as period advertising stock and medical diagram reference.
