The florist containing sixty plates of the most beautiful flowers regularly dispos'd in their succession of blowing. To which is added an accurate description of their colours, with instructions for ... painting them according to nature.
A flower-drawing and colouring manual issued in London by R. Sayer and J. Bennett around 1785, with sixty uncoloured plates arranged in order of blooming and a short written account of each plant's colours for amateurs learning to paint from nature. The surviving page here is letterpress rather than image: a small-caps flower heading over a few lines of eighteenth-century roman type with long s, usable as period caption setting, ornament-free headers, or specimen text beside botanical outlines.
