[A collection of 212 coloured botanical plates]
A set of 212 hand-coloured engraved botanical plates gathered under the name of Pierre Joseph Buchoz, a French physician and botanist writing for apothecaries, gardeners and medical readers around 1776. Each plate isolates one or two flowering plants against blank paper, captioned in Latin and French script, with hand-applied yellows, whites and olive greens over fine outline engraving; useful for cut-out plant silhouettes, period labelling, and limited-palette colour schemes.
