[Herbier de la France, ou collection complette des plantes indigènes de ce royaume] / [Pierre Bulliard].

Jean-Baptiste François Pierre Bulliard · 1780 · Paris : The author, etc., 1780-1793] · 177 pictures

A French mycological and botanical folio issued in parts by Pierre Bulliard in Paris between 1780 and 1793, made for naturalists, physicians and collectors identifying native fungi and plants. The hand-coloured copperplates show bracket fungi on log sections, funnel-shaped and lobed caps, spines and gills in cutaway, and clustered stems, each keyed by italic letters against bare paper, giving designers isolated specimen shapes, ochre-to-black colour runs and dotted rule divisions.
