Observations on the properties and effects of the expressed oil of the seed of Croton tiglium; together with the botanical history, and a correct coloured engraving of the plant / [John Frost].
A short medical-botanical pamphlet by John Frost, published in London in 1827, reporting on the purgative oil pressed from Croton tiglium seeds for physicians and apothecaries. Its single folding plate is a hand-coloured engraving of a flowering croton branch, with glossy dark and red-veined leaves, small yellow-green flower sprays, a fruit capsule, and separate seed and seed-section studies.
