Westfranzösische Kuppelkirchen
Felix Witting's 1904 architectural study, published in Strasbourg by J.H.Ed. Heitz, surveys the domed Romanesque churches of western France for scholars of church building. Halftone photographs show exteriors of stone naves with stacked cupolas and lantern towers, and interiors of bare arcades, pendentives and chair-filled naves, offering masonry textures, arch geometry and vault diagrams for reuse.
