What of the city? America's greatest issue--city planning, what it is and how to go about it to achieve success
A 1919 city-planning treatise by Walter D. Moody, managing director of the Chicago Plan Commission, issued by A.C. McClurg & Co. in Chicago to argue the case for planning to civic groups, businessmen, and municipal officials. The plates are halftone photographs and reproduced drawings of American cityscapes, waterfronts, boulevards, and park systems, with long explanatory captions set beneath, useful for aerial urban views, before-and-after street comparisons, and early twentieth-century skyline silhouettes.
